Cillian Murphy at #1 is spot on. He absolutely carried Oppenheimer. But John David Washington at #2? Come on. Tenet was ambitious, but he lacked the emotional depth of someone like Ledger, whose Joker is still the gold standard for villain performances. Bale deserves way more respect too, he was Nolan’s Batman and gave the trilogy its weight. And Fionn Whitehead that high? Dunkirk was driven by tension, not acting. Solid list, but swap Washington and Whitehead way down, and move up Ledger, DiCaprio, and Bale where they belong.
