You're putting way too much thought into what is one of the greatest sci-fi adventure movies ever made. Time travel isnt real. Regardless of the "rules", paradoxes would be created one way or another. Probably unwinding the fabric of spacetime. I guess the days of just enjoying an entertaining movie are over with. Hop in the Delorean and fix that.
