See AllSolo Leveling May Be Big, But It Isn't This Year's Most-Watched Anime According to a New Report
... Its incredible how uninformed this article is about what those supposed numbers actually mean, and how innefective Nielson is these days.
Let me repeat what was said again, only actually highlight it instwad of making it barely an aside talking about Nielson. Nielson goes off LEGAL streaming numbers. And only in the US. Globally speaking, many people have Netflix already so they watch on there. Just because more people could watch legally doesn't mean more people watched it. Especially globally. And especially considering there are a lot of people who refuse to watch Anime through crunchyroll and instead do it illegally.
"It's Unprofessional": One Piece Animator Sparks Debate After Calling For Some of the Anime's Team to Be Fired
Frankly, I'm not sure how there can be an argument here in of what's best for One Piece specifically. Those sound effects have been a part of the anime for going on three decades. To shift away from them and adopt a "modern" approach would be the jarring thing, not updating the techniques for One Piece specifically.
It would be a drastic change to the series audio themes and make it inconsistent, which to me damages a show far more than having outdated techniques. Now if they want to use them on the updated version they intend to release soon, I wouldn't mind that. From Oda's comments that's exactly where it would be appropriate to make changes since he doesn't just want a copy and paste with no unique spin.

First off, Naruto was 17 by the end of the anime/manga. There's a pretty big deal made about his birthday landing in the middle of the war. Now let's just get down to the obvious. Naruto’s portrayal in Boruto is NOT true to who he is. Because the biggest issue isn't his power level. It's the fact he's portrayed early on as being absent from his families lives.
