Nice, I agree. Such potential, hopefully not thrown away forever just to cling to the past.
Rey's New Jedi Order Movie Will Have To Do What The Franchise Has Been Avoiding For The Last 10 Years
I thought the acolyte was a great start to this, and it was awesome, in my opinion, worthy of an ongoing story. But, typical, "fans" whomever these people are, didn't like it for the dumbest, insignificant reasons; it was new and different! Omg! And thus it was canceled. Star Wars is about the force, and no future Star Wars movie or series will ever dismiss or leave it absent. Why can't we reconcile this with the fact that we can and should expand beyond the Skywalker storyline. That doesn't mean negate or forget it, or them (our beloved og characters) at all. That's impossible. But we can open our eyes to the vast and amazing potential the Star Wars galaxy has provided us with. I hope Disney doesn't ruin it. I don't think they will, or if it's even possible. But I worry these "fans" who seem to exert major influence over current and future productions, will stymie its potential and success. Life goes on. Here on earth and in the StarvWars universe, and nothing or no one lasts forever (Skywalker saga) and these fans realize this and focus their appreciation on the bigger picture; the universe, the force and the future.

Absolutely. Let's not mistake who the real protagonist or hero is here and forevermore; the force.
