I think that the songs listed are good songs, but not the best, especially Beth, Allison, Little Wing, Angie, and True Colors (I don't put Cyndi Lauper's music with classic rock- I consider it pop). I also think there are rock ballads and then there are power ballads. Rock ballads are from your classic and regular rock- Beatles, Journey, REO Speedwagon, Rolling Stones, etc. Power ballads are from your heavy metal, hard rock, hair band type rock - Aerosmith, KiSS, GNR, Poison, etc . Your list contains both.
