See AllLuke Cage Actor Addresses The Chances Of Him Returning In The MCU
I would have loved to have seen Luke Cage turn up in a Black Panther film. Imagine it. Wakandas opened up and its done outreach into african american communities in the US (something aluded to previously). Something brings one of the more global baddies into Cages territory and while cage checks it out he bumps into Black Panther, at this point Cage is still kind of in charge of the local mob (the 'moral cliffhanger' at the end of the last LC season) so they have a punch up and BP realises that Cage is super strong, and not *really* a bad guy, and talks cage into leaving that stuff behind and they team up to take on the big bad. With Cage now redeemed, he ends up as a B-List call up for the Avengers if they ever need serious muscle. He's not Hulk or Thor strong, but still strong and bulletproof enough to throw down with some of the mid tier avengers, so if they need muscle when taking on the next space tyrant or whatever, they can call up cage and make use of his services.
One Star Trek: The Next Generation Species Was Too Powerful To Ever Bring Back
Yeah I dont think the Prophets quite rise to the same sort of heights as the Q or Trelane do in of their powers. Definately powerful, but not "can modify the gravitational constant of the universe with a thought" powerful like the Q

I'm not entirely sure the Prophets are quite on the same scale as, say, the Q Continuum or Trelane. They are absolutely significantly more advanced than us. But they seem to be largely just regular aliens, not quasi-deities like the Q continuum who literally are omnipotent and omnipresent

I think the problem with them narratively, are similar to the problems of what makes Superman so hard to write for. When the powers of one are so vastly above or beyond the powers of the other that they become effectively an immortal, its really hard to write stories about them unless the lesser party is somehow put on an equal footing. In Qs case, its because while Q is bit of a bandit he's not *really* interested in destroying the federation. He's just a bored petulant man-child who wants to play and is a bit obsessed with humans (and their extension, the federation).
With that said, Q does provide one possibility. What if the federation WAS threatened by one of these other space god races, and the only thing that could save them was the Q continuum! They hadnt intervened in the other wars (borg, dominion, etc) because they knew we'd prevail without them. But against Gods, well thats not so likely. But with the Qs help that'd be a 'war' that'd be a bit more balanced.
