I think that killing off Tom is the perfect way to push the Sonic franchise in a more realistic direction like it was meant to be since they decided to have him & the others in the real world mostly. Given that most people that truly know who Sonic The Hedgehog IS anyway are actually grown adults by now lol. This introduction of Shadow is perfect to expand the Sonic franchise so that making more movies doesn't grow stale! It will show there's more out there for Sonic & the team just like in the games... I guess. I just want it to be more REAL ya know? Lol
