You bring up a good point, we know Mr. Fantastic is in Earth 838, there's at least reasonable chance Doom also exists in that universe and Mordo would be one person most likely to seek his aid to hunt down and get vengeance on Strange for the destruction of the Illuminati. When it comes to Strange he does not exactly have the clearest vision at the best of times, and he's just lost everything.

They have plenty to work with, they just have been less open about showing their hand than phasds 1-3. This is a good thing, I think. With the infinity saga, we (comic fans) all knew he would collect the infinity stones and use them. There was no surprise. With this saga, there's a few plausible paths to give Doom his endgame, so they can lead the community with hints and subterfuge and maybe actually provide a decent surprise at the big reveal. We'll see whether they can pull it off, but if they manage I think it'll be huge.

There was one 'rule' that I know was broken. It's one of the world rules, 'no paper'. They used a paper note in one of the episodes (it could have been a different material but the rule isn't literally about paper but the absence of hand writing materials in general, indicating that technology has become so pervasive that even something as simple as a notepad is handled by technological means)

This is kinda legacy to the Zelda franchise. Nothing saying they can't do different in a new iteration, but Link has always been a mostly solo character. If anything, botw and totk have reduced how solitary Link has traditionally been by adding active characters, even fighting with the militia proving that Link isn't alone fighting this global threat qnd literally nothing happens outside his own actions. (Even though they still often wait for you to show up, because video game)

You may not be willing to blame him, but I am. If you say 'I'm going to finish it' and then drag your feet for a decade, any other customer would just go somewhere else. Unfortunately if you want this book, there's noone else to get it from unless you liked the finale on HBO. I guess he's fine with that being the official end, because we'll never get the actual one. Never should have allowed them to 'finish' if he wasn't ever going to do it himself.

They also failed to understand the actual story, Gold squadron picked Mon from Coruscant and was hunted and nearly destroyed before being rescued by the Ghost and crew. I thought maybe they had some interesting tidbit of lore tucked away but they just failed entirely to even understand either episode of which fhey spoke.

I think it would be a great showcase of Dooms threat if he just crushes the Avengers with little outside drama. Maybe they're quibbling over the name bit but as you say, I can't imagine Bucky and Sam letting that interfere with working together to stop a major threat. Probably just be some verbal reparte between fights.

Doom is not a version of Stark. We have plenty of reason to doubt this not the least of which being confirmation from the Marvel group that he is Victor Von Doom. Doom is plently smart enough to not require any attachment to Stark to compete with Reed, Shuri, Banner and any other meta genius from Marvel history.

This just further implicates the council's hypocrisy, rather than excusing Vos or Anakin. If they're going to make exceptions then they need to rephrase their restrictions. Anakin may not have turned to the dark if he could've approached his friends in the Jedi regarding his concerns (no guarantees, their advice may not have been helpful) but at the end of the day the council is wrong. Both choosing to accept evil acts for the greater good and denying a path for love and relationship for fear of attachment.

Tim Curry could do a great Sinister, shame they didn't pull this string much earlier. Dude's pushing 80 and while I don't doubt he could still play the part, I may not have faith that he'll survive another 1-2 decades to get them done.

Seems a shame for one of the few true legacy characters to never have time as a hero though. Angel still has not been shown in the MCU, and the original human torch (Jim Hammond, not Johnny Storm) has been teased briefly but may never get a chance to truly showcase with the F4 team having the better recognized version of the character. Angel may get his chance in the future but if Namor plays out this way in Doomsday then he may not get a chance for redemption.

It may be a quibble, but technically the zombieverse has already crossed over into the MCU live action since they had Headpool in Deadpool and Wolverine. Headpool is a zombie infected variant of Deadpool, while it would be difficult to be certain whether that specific variant comes from the MCU zombie universe, it is highly probable.

First doesn't care whether the alien species had visited the planet before, first represents the historic moment when an alien species openly reveals itself to a new collective species. There were numerous canonical visitations of aliens on Earth, even some that were recognized as aliens (Quark from DS9 was canonically responsible for the alien encounter in Roswell New Mexico.)

This could technically have been first as the US government clearly had evidence of extra terrestrial life, but kept it quiet. So the first event occurred after the Vulcans recognized the achievement of first interstellar flight technology and made official , even if there had been events in the past where aliens had been present, and even been outed to the locals, it was never made public knowledge.

Just like Tom Bombadils bright yellow and blue outfit would have contrasted starkly with the muted pallette in the Lord of the Rings, Sarumon of the Many Colors would both have disrupted the sober colorization, and had drastically different meaning to the modern audience than the 1950s audience.

Similar to the changes in John Carter though that series didn't have the staying power (I'm certain this was mostly due to Disney being unwilling to have the titular hero arrive on Mars as he did in the series. They might at least have earned a few more raised eyebrows if he'd landed on Mars attired in naught but his skin xD)

Almost like the comics they sprang from. Almost noone has the time and resources to read through every single comic even restricted to just one universe/publisher. Pick something that appeals to you and start there. You can always go back and check out other things as the story demands but nobody should ever say you can't start reading comics in the middle or almost noone new will ever pick up a book in the first place. MCU is the same, start with something you think you'll like and continue or go back from there.

Disagree, as a Cajun I don't expect anyone outside Louisiana to have a perfect Cajun accent (mostly because the dialect itself is pretty diverse depending on where you are in the state) but at least he put forth some effort to the role. Maybe dial it back a bit without Deadpool to translate (incorrectly for comedic effect) because we know Gambit is perfectly capable of getting his message across, he just enjoys a bit of flair now and again. As someone stated below, there may be some perfect choice unknown somewhere, but until that person pops out I'll take someone who cares enough to put some effort into the role over another Kitsch any day of the week.
