The so called mega evolution but not is what I came to call Sync Pact. Sync to be in tune or on the same page, Pact to be bonded on a higher level. If they explored it more with other pokemon and trainers it would be in a separate class then mega evolution, dyna max and giganta max. This would open up the series to a new way of battling and a intense consequence of losing. The strength would also be on the trainer if in game would make it be limited uses like a power move example fire blast. The trainer would have a level and stamina and health that they could endure a battle. That is if they focus on the sync pact it could have a come back.

They always look down on death in a kids series even though some Pokemon have died in the past. A person's death would be different.

In general I do think Ferdie will be trapped with his like pokemon Charizard and other pokemon besides Captain Pikachu. I feel that it's more leaning to that.
