Isn't Sherlock supposed to be theatrical, self loathing and self centered. He battles a strong drug addiction, so these aren't qualities I like in the elementary series with a sober guide always around who just happens to be a brilliant surgeon. Talk about unrealistic.

I find myself going back and forth from Elementary. I have binge watched Sherlock BBC with Benedict 8 times in the last 2 years. I love the crazy mysteries. If I wanted something simple I would watch the ID channel. I am American and find Elementary a LOT like many series on television.

I would LOVE a new series with BBC Sherlock with the same cast however I think they need to work on some new story lines, possibly some movies or short annually series for BBC would be a welcomed treat!!! I fell in with Rupert Everett's portrayal of Sherlock was addictive to watch. I have really felt both actors really did grasp Sherlock's character and threw everything they had in their acting of Sherlock. Bravo guys!
