The cancellation of Kaos was crazy after it had done such a fantastic job of world building and put together such a strong ensemble of actors in the first series. It looked set to go from strength to strength and seemed to achieve as much as or more than anyone could surely have expected when greenlighting it's in the first place. It was always going to need room to breathe and grow. Personally I've never forgiven Netflix for Santa Clarita Diet and Dirk Gently, two uniquely quirky and original shows that got me hugely invested and then were snatched away, rendering all the time spent watching them wasted, and wrecking their rewatch value forever.
