AoT definitely has the best plot twists as an anime in my opinion. It can’t be compared. The only thing about it that I say twists Eren’s whole mass-genocide thing is how he beats up one of his childhood friends and makes the other cry, then goes on to commit genocide and wipe out 80% of humanity.. then afterwards showing us how he acts like a child over a girl. He is quite literally committing worldwide genocide, PROVING the flat-earth theory, and now here he is crying over a girl that HE pushed away. I feel like that is a little dramatic, and that maybe he would at least shed a tear for the people he is actively murdering. Now, I am not saying that Eren is the best anti-villain I have ever read about, but there is some flaws in the plot. For instance, I feel like it is a little odd that Eren went from a little kid with major anger issues to a cold 19 year-old that acts like he is 25. I feel like that Eren might be growing up too fast, and that Isayama should have made Eren a little less tragic and more angry with the founding titans powers. Another thing.. when Eren says that he hates mikasa, he obviously doesn’t really mean it. But a lousy flaw here is that he will say that to mikasa, who he says is willing to be under control and claims that is why he doesn’t like her- her lack of free will, but then willingly respects Ymir when she has been a slave to King Fritz for the past 2000 years??? In a way, I understand that. Eren was most likely using Founder Ymir’s lack of free will and urge to be free as a way of enticing her to lend him her power. I still think that this could have been better. But I ADORE THIS SHOW 🥰💖💖 I can’t believe that it’s over

I feel late to this article, but I just recently watched this show and I can’t stop thinking about it. Personally, the love story between Mikasa and Eren is messed up and great at the same time. The end leaves so many questions that will never be answered, but if there was any other ending, it wouldn’t have worked out. I have thought about this ending, and if eren went to live his life out with mikasa Paradis island would’ve been doomed to war (even though because he doesn’t finish the whole genocide job Paradis lives on for hundreds of more years of war). Eren was definitely the best anti-hero I have ever watched/read about in my life. I still can’t process that it’s over just yet 😭 if I had to rate this show, it would be a rating of 15/10 but I don’t recommend it unless you want scars on your mental health for life.
