Believe it or not, there is a dating simulator currently playable in PUBG: Battlegrounds, but it is only available for a limited time as a treat for April Fool's Day. This in-game event was made as a collaboration between developer Krafton and its AI game development studio, ReLU Games. There are multiple endings for this collaboration that give player in-game rewards, such as nameplates and sprays.

According to the weapons in the game. Rounding out the dating simulator cast is KAR98K, a golden-eyed woman. The event will last from April 1 to April 29. "Gear up, or in this case, Rizz up!" the website reads.

Date PUBG Guns In “Winner Winner Romantic Dinner”

Yes, It's As Odd As It Sounds

During this limited-time event, PUBG: Battlegrounds players will be able to date various "guns" as a high school student preparing for a school festival, set in the PUBG universe. There are branching storylines that can lead to three different endings. Players can earn Contraband Coupons and nameplates depending on which ending they obtain. There are also more rewards for obtaining all three endings, including 500 G-Coins, an emblem, and a spray.

Parody Dating Sims Is The Go-To April Fool's Joke For Games

Absurd Fun

PUBG Winner Winner Romantic Dinner Dateable Guns

This isn't the first time a parody dating simulator has been added as an April Fool's joke for a game. Palworld is allegedly getting a dating simulator as well for April Fool's this year. Valorant also got one, called the Love Event, back in 2021, so dating simulators appear to be a go-to way of celebrating April Fool's while also allowing players to get rewards for playing the game.

While this one might require mostly out-of-main-game work to complete the multiple endings, fans are likely going to enjoy how absurd it is for PUBG: Battleground's weapons to become dateable humans, similar to indie games like Boyfriend Dungeon. Hopefully, there will be even sillier fun for this funny holiday in the future for this long-running game.
