Erika Jayne from The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills is reportedly extremely angry with Bravo production for inciting the argument between Garcelle Beauvais. Erika has had a rough year up to date, and the newest season is showcasing her troubles with her friends now.
Bravo fans are still very torn on who to believe, as Erika has started to reveal her life layer-by-layer, and it wasn't the perfect life she had everyone thinking she had. The "Pretty Mess" singer has been embroiled in legal woes with her soon-to-be ex-husband, Tom Girardi. The two have been accused of allegedly stealing money from the victims of the Lion Air 610 Flight. Erika has always claimed she was not privy to her husband's information. In the recent episode, viewers learned that Tom owned a house in La Quinta that she had never been to, and she also revealed that the 82-year-old still phoned her.
Wednesday's episode of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills showed Erika speaking with Crystal and Garcelle while on a hike in Palm Springs. Cameras caught the blonde opening up about Tom reaching out to her, but no other audio was featured. There was no doubt that Garcelle was thrown under the bus by production, even though Crystal Kung Minkoff tried to rectify the misunderstanding. What viewers witnessed was Erika being triggered, but a source told Page Six that her anger was directed at production, not her co-star.
The 54-year-old accused Garcelle of betraying their friendship, but the source revealed she was directing her words at Bravo producers. The altercation left Erika a blubbering mess as she broke down behind a locked bathroom door. The source stated, “They cut it and paste it in a way to make it look like she was upset, but she was actually mad that Garcelle was told what to say three times, and she took the bait.” Evidently, producers had three different conversations with the Coming to America star. The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills fans were well aware that they had missed an important conversation. It was revealed by the source that Erika and Crystal had a private conversation where there were no cameras, but they were still hot mic'd. Bravo didn't want to do the fourth wall, so initially, they asked Crystal to ask Erika, but she refused.
Bravo fans became aware of backstage drama on Thursday, thanks to Lisa Rinna's post on Instagram, which read, “Dang it…I wish they had shown the screaming fight between the producer and Erika last night on the show in La Quinta. Now that would have been epic TV. Too bad. Bravo Bravo F–king Bravo.” Viewers are aware that saying the network name multiple times was a trick the housewives would use when they didn't want the footage to be used. The only hope now is that Erika and Garcelle can repair their friendship since the actress has been an avid er of Erika since day one.
The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills airs Wednesday at 9 pm EST on Bravo.
