Numskull Designs has announced a new figure based on Nemesis from Nemesis is a fearsome Resident Evil 3 villain, pursuing Jill Valentine through the chaotic streets of Raccoon City. It's a Tyrant-class monster that has been dispatched to deal with all of the of the S.TA.R.S team, in order to cover up the Umbrella Corporation's involvement in the Spencer Mansion incident.

Nemesis only appeared in a single Resident Evil game (not counting spin-offs and remakes), as Jill Valentine managed to destroy it in Resident Evil 3, but it has become one of the most famous monsters in the series. The concept of being chased through the game originated with Mr. X in Resident Evil 2, but Nemesis took things to a whole new level, as he was much faster than Mr. X and had a far more terrifying design, resembling the Cenobites from Clive Barker's Hellraiser. The love for the character is such that it became a playable fighter in the Marvel vs. Capcom series, with Dead by Daylight also adding Resident Evil's Nemesis in DLC based on the franchise that also included protagonists Leon Kennedy and Jill Valentine.

Nemesis will soon be appearing as a collectible figure. Numskulls Designs has announced that it's developing a Nemesis figure, which will its line of Resident Evil merchandise, including figures based on the Licker monsters from Resident Evil 2 and the Tyrant T-002 from the original Resident Evil. There is currently no word regarding a release date or a price, but it's worth mentioning that the Licker and Tyrant T-002 cost around $100/£80 each. A video featuring the Nemesis statue is available on the Numskull Designs YouTube channel.

The Resident Evil Nemesis was created in a lab, while this figure has hand-painted features for extra detail. The Nemesis figure is a limited edition item that is officially licensed by Capcom, standing at 10.9" (27.7cm) tall, with a base that consists of intricate cracked tarmac and police hazard tape. The version of Nemesis depicted in the figure is also sporting the Rocket Launcher that it uses to try and obliterate Jill Valentine in Resident Evil 3.

Nemesis has appeared in a lot of Resident Evil merch over the years, especially as a figure or a statuette, but the Numskulls one looks particularly impressive. The figure depicted in the trailer is still a prototype model and the final version may vary, so be sure to double-check closer to its release to see any changes in the figure. Nemesis is a popular Resident Evil villain, and the new figure will make for an imposing member of any nerd merch centerpiece.
