Players can now explore Resident Evil 4 total remake fan game. Capcom has consistently gone back to the Resident Evil franchise as technology has improved over the years, remaking and remastering different versions and editions of past games in order to provide players with both a fresh graphical experience and a tinge of nostalgia.

The most recent Resident Evil game to receive this remastering treatment was Resident Evil: Resistance mode which, for the first time in a long time, makes it fun for players to be a part of the Umbrella Corporation, even if it's not always as much for of the survivors team or players waiting for dozens of minutes in the in-game lobbies.

Now, according to a recent report by PCGamesN, a new type of remake is coming to the Resident Evil franchise, but it's not an official one like fans are used to. Instead, this remake is of the original Resident Evil game, and it's being made inside of Resident Evil 4, complete with that game's then-mindblowing over-the-shoulder aiming and movement systems. The fan-made Resident Evil remake, called Resident Evil Remix, is being developed by a YouTube  and Resident Evil modder named Mr. Curious, and although it's not currently available as a public release, another YouTube channel, Residence of Evil, has posted a video showcasing just how good the Resident Evil Remix is. Check it out below:

As evidenced in the video above, this fan-made creation isn't just a simple skin for Resident Evil 4 but is actually a full recreation of the original Resident Evil game, down to its now-playable intro sequence. PCGamesN also reports that, while the game isn't currently available, "it's very close to complete," something which is also mentioned by the players in the video above.

It sounds like it won't be long before fans will be able to get their hands on Resident Evil Remix, and it looks to be an engaging and undeniably entertaining take on the original Resident Evil experience, especially for a fan-made project. With all of the rumors surrounding Capcom's potential remake of Resident Evil 4, a game which still holds up as a quality experience, it's projects like this Resident Evil fan game that proves players somehow still aren't tired of shooting zombies in Raccoon City.
