According to a reputable ransomware attack on Capcom's network. This particular project counted among the many games whose titles and release windows were leaked online in the hack's aftermath.

The leak in question let loose very few details about the mysterious Resident Evil Outrage. However, fans of the series can apparently expect it to launch in the fourt quarter of this year, likely during the holiday season. This doesn't count as the only Resident Evil title that Resident Evil 4 remake will supposedly launch in the fourth quarter of 2022, followed by something called Resident Evil Hank that's on track for a Q4 2024 roll out.

In a Twitter post over the weekend, Resident Evil leaker Monster Hunter Rise. Outrage is reportedly of a higher quality than the first two Revelations entries, Dusk Golem continued, alleging the former's been in development for four years and has a "budget closer to Village's." This will guarantee Outrage is more of a "Code Veronica tier title," with protagonists such as Rebecca set to return.

As is always the case, fans should take all of the above with a grain of salt. Capcom has yet to even confirm Outrage's existence, let alone unveil specific details about its release, story, and characters. If the above details do indeed bear some semblance of truth, though, it's not known when the publisher will finally be ready to lift the veil itself.

With regards to Resident Evil, all of Capcom's focus currently centers on PlayStation 5 can experience the exclusive Maiden demo right now, while a separate demo for all platforms will release this spring.
