Lisa Barlow Is Disappointed In "Personal Attack" By Former Friend Bart Carlson

A Timeline Explaining Lisa's Current Loan Lawsuit

In response to the lawsuit, Lisa claims the money was loaned to her so long ago that she does not understand why it is a problem now. Lisa told TMZ, "To be very clear, the claim that I owe Bart or his company money is untrue. I pay my bills and obligations, and I always have." Lisa claims that Bart has not invested in her companies, and she states, "Bart has no interest in Luxe Marketing or Vida Tequila and did not invest in either business,” Lisa continued to explain her feelings, saying, “I look forward to the truth coming out.

Bart filed a lawsuit against Lisa Barlow for $400,000, which he claims he loaned to Lisa and her companies during a time when they were struggling financially. Having been friends with Lisa for a long time, Bart did not feel the need to place a timeline on the loan repayment when he agreed to help. Lisa is disappointed with how Bart’s accusations have affected their friendship and is adamant that Bart faces consequences for his lawsuit. Lisa stated her intentions simply, "I intend to hold Bart fully able for any damage this personal attack may cause me or my businesses."

From 2010 to 2018, Bart claims he loaned Lisa, Vida Tequila, and Luxe a total of $410,842.36, and no matter how many times he has asked, Bart says Lisa refuses to repay him.

Bart claims that every time he reaches out to Lisa about the repayment of the loans, Lisa tells Bart that she and her two companies simply cannot afford to repay him. For Bart, this has gone on too long, and unfortunately, Bart feels the only way to get back the money he feels he deserves is by taking his request for repayment to a judge.
