As reported by THR, Riverdale was filming the fourth season in Vancouver when this incident caused them to shut down production. A statement from Warner Bros. Television stated that the "team member is currently receiving medical evaluation," and "the health and safety of our employees, casts and crews is always our top priority."
Following many other productions, conventions, and music festivals, they are taking great caution to protect their staff and the public against the coronavirus. Just today, the World Health Organization declared the coronavirus a pandemic. It is unknown when production on Riverdale will start up again.
Chilling Adventures of Sabrina, and though they've hinted at it, there is yet to be a crossover.
