Sakamoto Days Brings Action Center Stage in New Anime Trailer
Anime Series By TMS Entertainment; Based On The Manga By Yuto Suzuki
With Sakamoto Days getting a new trailer, the main focus, of course, is on the incredible action. It’s one thing for there to be plenty of kinetic and creative action in the trailer from Sakamoto and everyone else, but more importantly, the new Sakamoto Days trailer perfectly highlights the creativity of the story’s action through both choreography and everyone’s unique tools, most notably Sakamoto’s ability to spontaneously lose a massive amount of weight. The action is the one thing the anime has to succeed with above anything else, and so far, it’s doing a perfect job with that.
Beyond the action, however, the trailer also does a great job of showing off the story’s comedic elements. One of Sakamoto Days’ biggest hallmarks of success is how effortlessly it blends action with comedy, and with the lively, comedic banter between the cast and the various visual gags like Sakamoto using paintball guns and he and Shin playing dress-up, Sakamoto Days’ trailer shows that the anime will do a perfect job translating the manga’s comedy to animation. Sakamoto Days’ first trailer gives a lot of confidence to the series’ success, and that’s nothing but great to see.
Sakamoto Days Could Become The Next One-Punch Man
If there’s anything to take away from the new Sakamoto Days trailer, of course, it’s that the anime is primed as a perfect successor to One-Punch Man. Both stories are known for their great comedy that’s used to complement even greater action, and with One-Punch Man season 3 still without a release date, the stellar action comedy of Sakamoto Days could make it the perfect anime to watch for anyone waiting for more One-Punch Man. Even without that comparison, though, Sakamoto Days has plenty going for it, and it’s sure to be a great series to watch this January.
