Takemura is one of the characters that can be saved throughout Cyberpunk 2077's campaign. This guide will show how players can rescue them. Cyberpunk 2077 has been one of the biggest and most controversial games to release in 2020. The game is praised for being a solid RPG with great world-building, characters, and setting. Although, the game has heavily received backlash due to the condition of the last generation releases on the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. The game is riddled with glitches, bugs, and texture don't look nearly as good as they do on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X. Regardless, players are still cycling through Night City, aiming to discover everything the city has to offer. Takemura is a character that players will need to save in order to 100% the game. This guide will show players how they can do it.

To save Takemura, the player must first make it to Act 2 set of quests. Act 2 is broken up into four different questlines that players need to complete. After the full four-set is done, the player will unlock two more missions to finish up Act 2, Play It Safe and Search and Destroy. Players will have the option to save Takemura during the Search and Destroy mission. This is fairly near the end of the main campaign so don't worry too much about rushing to it. Once the player reaches Search and Destroy, here's what they need to do save Takemura.

During the Search and Destroy quest, the player will reach a point where Arasaka soldiers blow a hole into the ground of the hotel. The screen will cut to black and the player will find Johnny Silverhand when they wake up. Johnny will mention that Takemura is done for but this isn't exactly the case. When exploring the room, look around for a bright blue neon cross sign attached to the wall. The player can then crouch through a red gap in the wall to follow a path that leads to a staircase.

Johnny will try and persuade the player from going in this direction but continue. Head to the top of the stairs and a new objective will appear called "Try to Save Takemura". This will lead to a new set of events on the quest that can be followed to save Takemura. This is required if the player wants to collect every objective in the game. This can be extremely easy to miss.
