In Schedule 1, to make things easier for yourself and to increase your profit, you can automate your farm. As your business picks up, you'll notice it becomes stressful running everything yourself. This is especially true when you get more customers.

However, you're going to need enough resources and cash if you want your farm to run smoothly. Once it's up and running, you should be reaping the rewards in no time. Plus, the more money you get, the more clothes you can buy for your character. But, the important thing is not to rush into it if you don't have the funds to it.

Everything You Need For Automating Your Farm

From Supplies To Money To Helpers

The electric plant trimmers and pot sprinkler was unlocked in Schedule 1.

As you progress through the game, you'll notice it will become difficult to keep up with the demands of your customers. To increase your profit and lessen the stress of your business, the best thing to do is to automate your farm. However, to automate your farm you're going to need money and supplies. Once you begin laundering money, you should have more than enough money to begin this process.

  • Soil Pourer - $300. This can be purchased quite early once you reach the new town.
  • Pot Sprinkler - $200. Similar to the soil pourer, you can purchase this once it is unlocked at the hardware store.
  • Hire workers
  • Have a place for the workers to sleep, such as the Sweatshop or Bungalow.

Keep in mind that each plant will require one piece of equipment. If you have more than one plant, you will need to purchase multiple pourers and sprinklers. However, they will be worth it as they allow you to get other things done while the plants are automatically taken care of. Eventually, the equipment won't be enough to keep up with the demands of your customers. This is when you will want to hire workers, but you need to have enough money to keep up with the cost.

How To Hire, Setup & Assign Every Employee

Ensure Your Automated Farm Runs Smoothly

Your first step is to head to the warehouse after 9 pm after you are at the Hoodlum IV level and have earned over $10,000. The best way to avoid the police is to stick to the outskirts of the map. Once you get inside the warehouse, talk to Manny, the guy upstairs. He will ask if you need to hire workers; ask the price to hire someone, and he will tell you that while the Cleaners and Packagers (also known as Handlers) are cheap, the Botanists will be more expensive. The Chemists will be the most expensive to hire.

If you look to the left of him, there will be a white board with the workers and their prices outlined. Speak with him once more to officially hire some workers, then choose which workers you would like to hire. You will need a bed for each of them, and Manny will ask where you would like to keep them. After agreeing, you will have to agree to the g fee and the daily wage for the worker.

Players will eventually need Pseudo if they want to expand their drug empire in Schedule 1 as it is a key ingredient for a very lucrative drug.

Head back to where your workers will be staying and assign their beds. Be sure to still have a bed for yourself so you can end each day. Once a worker is hired, you will notice a clipboard at the bottom of your screen next to your money. You will be using this to interact with each worker. At the end of the bed of each worker, you will notice a briefcase.

At the end of each day, you must ensure workers' daily wages are in the briefcase using physical money, or they will refuse to work. However, the workers won't disappear. If I'm strapped for cash and certain workers aren't necessarily needed, I just don't put any money in their briefcase until I need them again. You can even stock up on money so you don't have to worry about it for a few days.

When it comes to your setup, depending on your location for your automation, you could have a different room designated for a different task. The plants could be in one room, the packaging station in another, the storage in a separate room from there, and the chemist station separate from that. You could also organize it in a way so it's an assembly line in the order of operations. Have the plants, then a couple chemist stations, then some packaging stations, and finally some storage.

Hiring And Asg Cleaners

Hiring a Cleaner in Schedule 1.

Speak with Manny at the Warehouse to hire a Cleaner. The daily fee for a Cleaner will be $100. One cleaner should suffice, especially early on when you begin automating. However, I suggest you don't hire a cleaner until you start getting a stable income, so you can focus on churning out your product instead.

Using the clipboard, after you choose a bed for them, assign them up to three trashcans. After clicking assign trashcans, head over to where your trashcans are and assign them individually. You will notice each trashcan has a radius within which it is responsible. Your Cleaner will then automatically take care of their responsibilities.

  • Picking up trash
  • Bagging full trash bins
  • Disposing of full trash bags

Hiring And Asg Handlers

Hiring a Handler in Schedule 1.

To hire a Packager, speak with Manny and agree to the price. The daily fee for Handlers will be $200. After asg a bed to your Handler, you can assign them to a station. They will only use the station when all the tools are at the station, such as bags, jars, and products.

You can also assign up to five routes by telling the Handler to take a product from a storage case to the packing station. You can do this with the materials as well, such as bags and jars. Then, you can determine which storage the product will be delivered to once it's packaged.

  • Packaging the product
  • Transporting items between stations, storage racks, loading bays, et cetera

Hiring And Asg Botanists

Hiring a Botanist in Schedule 1.

You can hire a Botanist by speaking to Manny. The price of hiring a Botanist will be $200 daily. They have the most responsibilities out of all the workers. The game can get a bit tedious, which makes keeping up with demands even more stressful. I find Botanists are extremely useful in Schedule 1; these workers take the pressure off of your business so you can just focus on the money rolling in.

Using the clipboard, get close to the Botanist and click manage. The first thing you must do is assign them a bed like you did with the other workers by clicking the option on your clipboard, and then clicking the bed you want to assign to them.

The game can get a bit tedious, which makes keeping up with demands even more stressful. Botanists take the pressure off of your business so you can just focus on the money rolling in.

Next, using the clipboard, click on the supplies and assign a supply shelf that they will use to grab supplies from. Finally, manage the Botanist again, click the assign button, then go into the room with the plants and choose which pots they will be taking care of. Use the shift button to select multiple plants. You can choose up to eight.

To manage the pots, you can hold shift and click on which pots you want to manage, then choose which seeds to use, as well as up to three additives for each pot. Using the clipboard, you can also choose which rack each of the products should be stored once grown. This will give the Botanist some direction while they're working. The Botanists will then take care of the daily activities of taking care of the plants.

  • Sowing seeds
  • Watering plants
  • Applying additives
  • Harvesting plants
  • Using drying racks

Hiring And Asg Chemists

Hiring a Chemist in Schedule 1 to help automation.

The Chemists can also be hired through Manny and the daily wage for them will be $300. Using the clipboard, you can assign their bed as well as a station for them to work at. You can choose up to three stations for them to work at.

  • Use chemistry stations
  • Use lab ovens
  • Use cauldrons
  • Use mixing stations

When asg the stations, choose that option when speaking to the Chemist, then walk over to the stations and, using the shift button, select all the stations you wish for that particular Chemist to work at. You will use the clipboard again to choose the recipe you want the Chemist to make at each station. They will then proceed to take care of the duties assigned to them and help your Schedule 1 farm run smoothly (see above).
