In June, Shirley Curry, also known as Skyrim Grandma, managed to get a gold play button from YouTube thanks to the wild success of her channel. The player appeals to many because of her absolutely heartwarming videos that are a far cry from many playthroughs, and she would never be one of those to use the open-world format to do terrible things... unlike some!

Skyrim is one of the best games in offering players enough freedom to do whatever they want, even if that liberty can lead to some acts that are perceived as immoral or plain evil. However, a lot of Dragonborns are not ashamed of their evil deeds and decided to share the worst things they have done in the game.

Disobeyed The Guards

Skyrim Guard

Guards are pretty clear on what not to do, so Redditor ansemstudyy showed how evil players can be and how they cannot care about the law and other people's safety and confessed "I lollygagged" and AlwaysAlways  spoke for many when he replied, "You monster."

"No lollygagging" is one of the most important things guards say to players as soon as they walk in into any city or town, and it's clearly become a joke for this Redditor, as really, taking a little extra time is hardly a crime!

Stealing

Skyrim Fan Theory Explains Why Guards Aren't Very Smart

TyrantWave crossed the line and committed another atrocious crime, and shared how he "took someone's sweet roll." Guard duty is no joke, and only the evilest of players could sleep at night after knowing a guard approached the Dovahkiin's victim and said "Let me guess, someone, stole your sweet roll" only to receive a "yes" as a response.

The world can be a ruthless place, and Skyrim is not an exception. Players can imagine how after a long busy day working and facing another dragon destroying buildings, NPC's must find happiness in a very delicious sweet roll that is waiting to be eaten in one of the kitchen's stands, and taken that away from them is plain cruel.

Killed Paarthunax

Paarthurnax, a white dragon, sits atop a snowy peak leering at the camera in a screenshot from Skyrim.

the most important decisions to make in Skyrim, and it's probably the cruelest one to choose.

Paarthunax may have a questionable past, but the truth is he showed humanity the way of the voice to save everyone from the evil deeds of his brother Alduin and deserves to be forgiven. He also teaches many things to the Dragonborn and helps him fight against Alduin, so killing him is only doable for those players without a heart or consciousness.

Killing The Old Orc

skyrim the old orc

He is one of the most random encounters in Skyrim and killing him in an honorable battle can actually be considered a good deed because the player gives him the death he desires. However, evil minds such as BrokenBlackSmith can go really far in their devilish deeds and ideate new creative ways of serving cruelty.

He shared "telling the old orc who is looking for an honorable last fight that you don't want to fight him, and then stealth assassinating him. Bonus evil if you trap his soul.". Not only is the player giving him a very dishonorable death according to orcs tradition, but he also prevents the orc from getting to the Ashen Forge with Malacath's blessing, which is twisted in many ways.

Killing Meeko

Skyrim — Barbas the talking dog

Meeko is a poor dog that can be found next to his owner's dead body in Meeko's Shack in Hjaalmarch. His love for his owner makes him stay next to him even after his death but he is alone and without proper care. Dogs are four-legged angels and most players feel so sorry for the adorable pet that they adopt him.

But there are other players like evil choices to turn their Skyrim character dark.

Torture Chamber

A deleted Redditor commented "I've been enjoying the DB torture chamber way too much! The victims are subjected to all manner of fun stuff; cold, fire, knives, electricity. Of course I heal them just when they're on the edge of death" which doesn't make all the torture better or forgivable.

Extending someone's life for torture is beyond wicked and that is why maybe it is a good idea to end the Dark Brotherhood from the beginning. Assassinating people with a quick and effective death is one thing, but prolonging their pain and making them suffer is absolutely horrifying.

Sacrifice For Boethiah

The Boethiah sacrifice in Skyrim.

Dangerzone128 commented "I found an orc in a stronghold who told me all he ever wanted to do was have adventures. So I told him to come adventuring with me, took him straight to the Shrine of Boethia, and sacrificed him." and proved how far players can go for a reward.

The daedric prince may offer one of the best and most rare armors out in Skyrim in exchange for the follower's life, but is an inanimate object, without feelings or family, worth the life of an NPC who trusted the player and swore to protect the Dragonborn with his or her life? For evil players it is.

Did The Unimaginable

A shot of a farmland chicken in Skyrim

Diggsters confessed without remorse how he "killed a chicken" and Moralai answered, "never should have come here!" in shock and meeting the good-hearted NPC's reaction to the murder of innocent farm birds. Killing any animal that is just minding its own business and not hurting anyone is unnecessary and therefore plain evil.

It is a good thing that most villagers in Skyrim seem to be animal rights activists and will fight fearlessly against the Dragonborn if he or she performs such a cruel and dishonorable act against any of their animals. There is no excuse for killing a chicken, there are plenty of chicken breasts and eggs everywhere.

Bard College

Ignore Skyrim's Tending the Flames side quest

Diskausity explained how he activated the ritual stone after attending the celebration at the end of the bard's college quest and cast fury on everyone. He recalled how once he was "knee-deep in corpses" he used the ritual stone power and laughed "maniacally as a horde of zombies shambles into the streets of Solitude".

Players like him keep surprising other Dovahkiins with their level of evil planning. Murdering someone by accident or by a one-moment impulse is bad, but to plan something as thoroughly as Diskausity proves he is one of the most twisted, foul, and sinister Dragonborns to ever exist.

Nazeem

Nazeem and the Cloud District

Many Redditors have done unspeakable acts in Skyrim, but Derock789 proved to be the winner of the evil crown and commented "I went a whole playthrough without killing nazeem" to which a disturbed deleted answered "You sick f*ck".

Killing Nazeem is as good and honorable as murdering Gerold the Kind. There are individuals in Skyrim that ruin other people's lives and the world would be a better place without their unkind and mean attitudes, and Nazeem is definitely one of them. So the evil thing to do is let him discriminate against other characters for their social and economical status.
