For avid Provided they've enabled Birthday Party, their birthday and zodiac sign should be displayed right under their name. s can tap on the birthday to view a list of all , recent, and previous birthdays. The search bar on top lets s search for a particular Snapchat friend and view their birthday.
How To Find Friends' Birthdays On Snapchat
Snapchat previously offered the Birthday mini to see a full overview of friends' birthdays in chronological order, but since minis (and games) have now been removed from the app, this is the only way to view a list of birthdays. Alongside the birthdays, s can tap on the 'Zodiac Signs' tab to view birthdays categorized by zodiac signs, with the current month's zodiac sign being displayed on top.
To remind s of a friend's birthday, a cake emoji will appear next to their name on the Chat screen on their birthday. It's important to note that if a Snapchat hasn't enabled Birthday Party in settings, their birthday won't show up on the Chat screen. Additionally, Snapchat only shows the day on which someone was born. It does not reveal their age or birth year — just the month and day.
Snapchat also displays more birthday-related information on a friend's profile. Scrolling down on the profile reveals a list of charms. s can view their Star Sign Compatibility with that friend, and look at information about their birthstone and astrological sign. Charms can't be shared, and are just snippets of information that s might find interesting. If s do want to share a charm, they'll need to take a screenshot and share it in Chat. It's worth noting that just like Story screenshots, Snapchat notifies s about profile screenshots, so keep that in mind.
Enable Birthday Party & Astrological Profile
To add a birthday to Snapchat, tap the Settings (gear) icon in the top-right corner of the Profile screen. Go to 'My ' and tap 'Birthday.' Add a date and year and select 'Okay' to save it. This screen is also where a birthday can be updated. Snapchat s enable the toggle next to 'Birthday Party' to display a cake emoji next to their name on their birthday. This will also display their zodiac sign in their profile.
Once Birthday Party is enabled, friends will be able to view and share a 's Astrological Profile and Compatibility. The Astrological Profile uses the birthday entered by the to automatically assign their zodiac sign and reveal some key personality traits about them. Once this has been enabled, s will be able to go to a friend's profile to view their Astrological Compatibility by clicking on the zodiac sign next to their name. However, this only works if both friends have the feature enabled on Snapchat.
