The Venom symbiote storyline comes to life in Spider-Man: No Way Home ended, the status quo has forever changed for Peter Parker, as Phase 6 will explore the hero in a world where no one knows that he is Spider-Man. While Sony Pictures and Marvel Studios have been very secretive about what Spider-Man: Brand New Day will focus on, that is not stopping fans from sharing their wishes and hopes of storylines they want to see in Holland's new sequel.

One of the famous Spider-Man arcs that many have wanted to see adapted in one way or another is Peter Parker's symbiote saga, allowing Holland's iteration of the Marvel hero to finally don the black suit, and get closer to having Venom in the MCU. To show what that could look like for Holland, Smasher recently shared a new Spider-Man: Brand New Day concept trailer, showcasing how the Venom symbiote could be set up in the MCU. Check it out below:

While plot details remain under wraps, Spider-Man: Brand New Day is looking to start principal photography this summer. Following the recent changes to the MCU release schedule, Spider-Man: Brand New Day will now be the second movie for Phase 6, with Avengers: Doomsday no longer coming out before it.

What The Spider-Man: Brand New Day Concept Trailer Means For Tom Holland's MCU Sequel

While the MCU timeline has explored various Spider-Man villains and arcs throughout Holland's time in the franchise, the symbiote plot is one of the biggest ones that fans have wanted to see since the conclusion of Spider-Man: No Way Home, given that Peter is now on his own. Given Spider-Man: Brand New Day is, in many ways, a new beginning for Peter, this makes particular sense. After losing Aunt May, and with MJ and Ned no longer ing him, Peter would be more vulnerable to the symbiote, which the concept trailer makes a really good case for in this instance.

Having Holland finally get to tackle this storyline is also suitable for The Multiverse Saga, as it remains to be seen what Spider-Man's role in the MCU will look like after Phase 6. Whether or not a symbiote-based direction will be the plan for the Spider-Man: Brand New Day story remains to be seen. But, looking at how the Spider-Man: Brand New Day concept trailer delves into this concept, this could be a dark and fascinating way to explore Peter's big MCU return.

Our Take On The Spider-Man: Brand New Day Concept Trailer

Tom Holland's bruised Spider-Man in No Way Home

After seeing how the Spider-Man: Brand New Day concept trailer makes a solid case for having Venom in the movie, it seems this would be a fascinating storyline for Peter. Seeing Spider-Man deal with his inner darkness would also be properly timed for Spider-Man: Brand New Day, allowing the hero to be in the right headspace if he ends up being part of Avengers: Doomsday and Avengers: Secret Wars. Hopefully, whenever Spider-Man: Brand New Day begins principal photography, fans will have a better idea of what type of storyline they will get in Holland's Phase 6 installment.
