In Marvel Comics, Miles Morales becomes Spider-Man following Peter Parker's demise in the Ultimate Universe of Earth-1610, so his introduction into the MCU could coincide with the possible tragic death of Tom Holland's Spider-Man. Caleb McLaughlin would be a brilliant choice to take over from Holland as the MCU's web-slinger, as he fits all the criteria to portray Miles Morales on-screen.

Of course, Caleb McLaughlin is 23-years-old, while Miles Morales gains his spider-like abilities at roughly 14-years-old in Marvel Comics. This age discrepancy may not be an issue for McLaughlin, however, as he has already proven his ability to portray a character significantly younger than himself in Stranger Things, and could always be introduced to the MCU as an older version of Morales, the nephew of Donald Glover's Aaron Davis from Spider-Man: Homecoming. McLaughlin's casting would deliver star-power to a live-action Miles Morales, allowing Spider-Man to live on in the MCU even if Peter Parker does not.

Caleb McLaughlin would be perfect in the role of Miles Morales in the MCU, even though he is slightly older than many would like the character to be portrayed. McLaughlin has the perfect appearance, youthful charisma and vulnerability to play the inquisitive and curious Miles Morales, and deserves more attention than his current bit-roles outside Stranger Things. Miles Morales could prove crucial to the narrative of Avengers: Doomsday and Secret Wars, just as he is in Marvel Comics, so his introduction would be a very exciting and game-changing development for the MCU.
