Nicolas Cage's Sony's Spider-Man Universe is done on the big screen for the time being, Sony is taking the world of the web crawler to the small screen with Spider-Noir. Spider-Noir explores the old-school hero in a new light, with Cage getting his shot at playing the Marvel hero in live-action after voicing him in the animated Spider-Verse films.

Spider-Noir was one of the productions to get affected by the L.A. fires earlier this month, but filming has now officially resumed. With principal photography underway again, The Daily Mail shared a new set of photos of Cage as the titular hero in Spider-Noir. While the context is unclear, the Spider-Noir images feature Cage seemingly investigating a case by himself in a field.

What The New Spider-Man Noir Set Photos Mean For Nicolas Cage's Marvel TV Show

Spider-Noir filming once again means that the area where production is based is safe from the L.A. fires, as there were numerous movies and TV shows that had to halt shooting. Whether or not they are close to being done with Spider-Noir's filming is unclear, as it remains to be seen which episode they are currently filming. Given that they have been filming since August 2024, it is likely that the Spider-Noir set photos are from somewhere towards the end of the season at this point.

What is interesting, however, is how many of the Spider-Noir cast have still not been spotted through the many set photos that have previously come out. So far, most of the Spider-Noir set images that exist out there have mostly focused on Cage's character, who is confirmed to not be Peter Parker. The latest Spider-Noir set photos may also indicate that there will be a lot of focus on Cage's Marvel player on his own, especially given the fact that his character is supposed to be a private investigator.

While time will tell what is going on in the set photos, it wouldn't be shocking if the mystery that Cage's character appears to be investigating revolves around the monsters that will be in Spider-Noir. The bigger question, however, is when Spider-Noir is expected to premiere, with many theorizing it could be a part of 2025's Marvel releases. Hopefully, once Spider-Noir wraps production, MGM+ and Prime Video will have a better idea of when the series will be ready for its big Marvel premiere.
