In the alternate Wasteland reality of Spider-Man's future daughters bizarrely have a kid together. Created by Mark Millar and Steve McNiven, there are plenty of twists and surprising events that occur in the dark future of Old Man Logan that saw supervillains winning. As a result, there are very few heroes left in the world years after their global takeover. However, Clint Barton and Wolverine find themselves forced to save Hawkeye's daughter who's become her own version of Spider-Girl.
Old Man Logan and the Wasteland world Millar and McNiven created is one of Marvel Comics' more prominent alternate realities, having received sequels, spin-offs, and crossovers with the primary Marvel continuity. There's also a prequel series known as Old Man Hawkeye from Ethan Sacks and Marco Checchetto, revealing Clint Barton's journey through the Wastelands and how he became blind. However, it also reveals Clint's failings as a husband and as a father to Ashley Barton which were first featured in the original Old Man Logan story.
Between the two stories, it's revealed that Hawkeye has had three marriages by the time he and Logan begin their trek across the country in Old Man Logan. While visiting Hammer Falls (formerly Las Vegas before Thor's hammer landed there after his death), Clint and Logan stop for food and meet with Tonya Parker, Clint's third ex-wife and apparently Spider-Man's youngest daughter. While some may find what must be a drastic age difference to be odd and strange, the reveal that Clint and Tonya have a teenage daughter named Ashley overshadows that fact. Furthermore, she's decided to become Spider-Girl (while also having a more colorful/inappropriate name as well).
While Marvel's Wasteland reality is arguably full of more surprising and dramatic reveals like Venomsuarus Rexes, Ghost Rider Gangs, and Red Skull as the president, there's no denying that Hawkeye's love life is pretty strange. Furthermore, the stories confirm that Clint was never a good father, often leaving for long periods of time and largely being absent in Ashley's life. As a result, after Clint and Logan manage to save Spider-Girl from the Kingpin, Ashley turns around and kills the Kingpin in order to take over his empire.
While Ashley would go on to some of Marvel's Spider-Verse events, she's definitely one of the darker Spiders in the multiverse. Regardless, the fact that Hawkeye had a kid with one of Spider-Man's daughters is quite bizarre, making Clint and Tonya one of the weirdest couples in the Marvel multiverse (right behind Old Man Logan's disturbing Hulk Gang). In any case, it will be interesting to see if Ashley Barton makes a new appearance in Marvel's Wastelanders spin-off series.
