With Solo: A Star Wars Story? There are many places in live-action she could turn up.
Numerous series in development occur around the same time as the Solo movie, giving fans some obvious options. Most intriguing is the revelation Qi'ra survived deep into the original trilogy, and likely beyond, meaning her next screen appearance could come again in the shadowy world of the bounty hunters.
The Mandalorian
In Star Wars: War of the Bounty Hunters #1 by Charles Soule, Qi'ra is revealed as the head of the revived Crimson Dawn. She sparks the bounty hunter by stealing Han Solo, frozen in carbonite, out from under Boba Fett.
If she survives the war, she's likely still active in the time of The Mandalorian. Crimson Dawn could still be a threat, and Qi'ra may yet have a bounty on her head for her actions during the original trilogy. She could very easily make an appearance when the show returns for its third season.
The Book Of Boba Fett
More likely than The Mandalorian, Qi'ra could easily be a character who appears in The Book Of Boba Fett. The show seems as though it will focus on the underworld, and given Qi'ra's history with Boba Fett in the comics, she would make for a fascinating villain.
The show could even flashback to the events of the current comics. Actor Temuera Morrison recently revealed that the show will depict Boba Fett's journey in the original trilogy and how he got to the point he's at in the series. Could Qi'ra be among the flashbacks?
Rangers Of The New Republic
While the proposed Rangers Of The New Republic series is no longer in active development, it could potentially come back to the schedule.
If it does, then Qi'ra could conceivably function as a villain in this series as well. The concept of Crimson Dawn making a major push in the aftermath of the collapsing Empire is intriguing, assuming she and the organization both survive the events of War of the Bounty Hunters. Crimson Dawn would be a compelling villain in the Outer Rim for the new Rangers.
Andor
The Andor series takes place roughly five years before the original Star Wars, meaning Qi'ra is about five years into her role as the leader of Crimson Dawn. Depending on how the series unfolds, she could easily make an appearance in the series either in a major role or a cameo.
With reports that Obi-Wan Kenobi could be making an appearance in the Andor series, creating something of a mini-shared universe within the Star Wars narrative, it only makes sense to include more prominent characters from the timeframe.
Obi-Wan Kenobi
Obi-Wan Kenobi and Andor crossing over could be building MCU-like connections in Star Wars. If that's the case, then Qi'ra makes sense in the Jedi Master's series as well. Obi-Wan takes place about nine years before Star Wars, or roughly the same time as Solo: A Star Wars Story.
Given the direct connection between Darth Maul and Kenobi, some kind of appearance is too good to up. A great deal depends on the nature of the story, but seeing Qi'ra again at the beginning of her journey is compelling.
Lando
Details about the It could connect to the original series in many ways, but also to Solo: A Star Wars Story.
Qi'ra makes a lot of sense if the story focuses on Lando's past at any point before or during the original trilogy. Her connection to him, and his tendency to find himself on the wrong side of the law, makes them a natural pair. It remains to be seen what the nature of the story will be, but Qi'ra would be an ideal candidate to reappear in the series.
Ahsoka
Qi'ra has no connection to Ahsoka Tano, at least that fans are aware of, but Crimson Dawn could be an obstacle in her path to finding Grand iral Thrawn.
One of the burning questions the Ahsoka series will answer is where Thrawn and Ezra Bridger are. Ahsoka has been cutting through the criminal underworld searching for them, and Qi'ra and her organization could be on that path as well. Given Qi'ra's expertise in Teras Kasi, a fight between Ahsoka and Qi'ra is almost too good to up.
Untitled Taika Waititi Star Wars Movie
Next to nothing is known about the Taika Waititi Star Wars movie or even when it will come out exactly. Speculation is broad with this one, but given his experience in directing The Mandalorian, there is at least a chance the movie could involve the criminal underbelly of the franchise. If it does, Qi'ra could appear.
Qi'ra's story so far spans from the period between the prequel to the original trilogy and conceivably into the era of The Mandalorian. Waititi's films have shown a great range in dealing with both humor and drama, and Clarke has shown she's able to do the same.
Solo: The Sequel
The most obvious place for Qi'ra to show up in live-action again is in a potential sequel to Solo: A Star Wars Story. Given the poor box office performance of the movie and the push toward streaming, that seems unlikely.
Still, things change all the time in Star Wars, and continuing the story started in the movie would be a great way to see Qi'ra again. Knowing that she survives a theoretical Solo trilogy sets up tantalizing possibilities for how her story would have gone in the movies.
Her Own Series
The ideal place to see Qi'ra again would be in her own streaming series. Emila Clarke is a fantastic actress, and Qi'ra was one of the best things about Solo: A Star Wars Story.
The character walks the line between good and evil and has a complicated history that fans now know spans multiple eras in a galaxy far, far away. With that being the case, a series centered on Qi'ra scaling the ladder in the criminal underworld would be a great way to showcase her and thread together many other characters as well.
