That said, the Star Wars Eclipse trailer appeared to suggest a darker-than-usual tone for the Star Wars franchise - but details surrounding the game's content have yet to point toward its maturity level.
Whether Disney is open to an M-rated Star Wars game is unknown, but Quantic Dream may try to push its game to the edge without veering away from a T-rated title. Disney appears to have already placed a lot of trust into Quantic Dream as Star Wars Eclipse is in the High Republic, an era that hasn't seen exploration in any Star Wars video games. Although Star Wars fanatics will likely be well-versed in this part of the lore, Quantic Dream has the freedom to add or shape elements in the High Republic universe.

Some time will likely before fans really get to see what this Last-of-Us-related claim means, though. Star Wars Eclipse is still years away, according to reputable insiders; so, Quantic Dream will likely recede back into the shadows for the foreseeable future while it continues to work on the new game.
