Ezra Has Become Essential To The Franchise
The emotional aspect to Ezra’s exile would be a fascinating topic for a comic series to explore. Again, he is only a young man when he makes a selfless sacrifice – just like his master, Kanan – to save his home planet. Ezra never found out how the Battle of Lothal ended; he only hoped that his gambit with Thrawn would pay off and give his friends the opening they needed to liberate Lothal. Sitting with that unknown outcome for a decade – not knowing whether his found family or home planet survived – would surely have taken a toll on Ezra mentally and emotionally.

iral Thrawn Knew Darth Vader Was Anakin Skywalker (But He Was Too Smart To it It)
While Thrawn deduced Darth Vader was once the Jedi Anakin Skywalker, he was far too smart to outright reveal the truth to the Dark Lord.
In his last message to Sabine, recorded via hologram, Ezra expresses his faith that she will find him and the Ghost crew can be a family again. While that certainly put pressure on Sabine to deliver for her best friend, it would be interesting to explore how Ezra held on to that same hope. In Ahsoka, Ezra expresses that he knew Sabine would find him. However, a decade is a very long time to be stranded in unknown deep space, meaning there are certainly moments of doubt, rife with dramatic potential, that an Ezra-in-exile comic series could highlight.

Star Wars fans would be thrilled to find out exactly how this interaction went down, and what it could mean for both characters' future.

Thrawn Accidentally Predicted Anakin Skywalker's Fall to the Dark Side
Thrawn is a genius beyond even his own immediate understanding, as he predicted Anakin Skywalker would become Darth Vader completely by accident.
In Ahsoka, Thrawn is acutely aware of Ezra’s survival, considering him as much of a nuisance as ever. As Thrawn started to amass power, Ezra’s safety would be at stake, despite having an entire planet to hide away on.
