In the Blu-ray DVD extras for the Ahsoka show, Star Wars' best duos. It wasn't until Ahsoka that Christensen got to experience this relationship firsthand, though, as it was Ahsoka that finally brought the two together in live-action.
In a video posted by HaydenUpdated on X, Hayden Christensen shared his experience working on the Ahsoka show, his love for Ahsoka Tano as a character, and his appreciation for the relationship Anakin and Ahsoka have. He also revealed that he watched all of The Clone Wars and Star Wars Rebels in preparation for his role in Ahsoka.
It's clear in this video how much love Christensen continues to have for Star Wars, which hopefully means that Ahsoka season 1 won't be his final appearance as Anakin Skywalker/Darth Vader.
What Hayden Christensen's Return Meant For Star Wars
Christensen's Role In The Ahsoka Show Was A Major Update For The Character
Although Christensen had recently made his return in Obi-Wan Kenobi, which was also brilliant, there was something truly special about the scenes with Ahsoka and Anakin in Ahsoka. As Christensen mentioned in the video, Anakin and Ahsoka came back together in the World Between Worlds, which ended up being exactly what Ahsoka needed to truly let go of the past and accept the title of Jedi for herself once more. There, Ahsoka was able to confront Anakin about who/what he ultimately became, and that moment of acceptance released her from the grief and guilt she'd held onto.
Thrillingly, this also meant that Ahsoka and Anakin were shown together in live-action for the very first time and Clone Wars-era live-action Anakin Skywalker had his on-screen debut. Viewers had long awaited seeing Christensen in this era, and it was executed flawlessly. The Ahsoka ending also means that Christensen's time in Star Wars may not be over yet.
Our Take On Hayden Christensen's Return
This Reunion Between Ahsoka And Anakin Was Perfect
As a massive fan of the prequels, I couldn't have been more delighted by Christensen's return in Ahsoka. The final episode of season 1 also revealed that Anakin Skywalker is on Peridea as a Force ghost, watching over Ahsoka, which hopefully means Anakin will return again in the Ahsoka season 2. Based on Christensen's comments, it seems clear he would be happy to return, which makes it seem more likely than not that he will make another appearance.

Ahsoka Season 2: Story, Updates, Everything We Know
Ahsoka season 2 is confirmed and has received exciting new story and filming updates. Here's everything we know about the Star Wars project.
Of course, nothing is currently certain when it comes to Ahsoka season 2. Dave Filoni recently revealed that he is still writing the new season, and there are numerous loose ends to tie up. Even so, Hayden Christensen's comments about his love for Ahsoka Tano and his joy in returning to Star Wars certainly suggest that Anakin Skywalker could be returning again soon.
