Players Will Be Able To Explore The Belly Of The Beast In Star Wars Outlaws
The Iconic Sarlacc Pit Will Be Part Of The Universe Once More
One area that is confirmed, according to an interview with IGN, is the iconic Sarlacc. Once thought to be the tomb of Boba Fett, this creature spans around 330 feet (or 100 meters). The one that Kay will be able to explore is dead, so it won't pose a threat to players, but it will still be a fascinating place to explore. Of course, who knows exactly what players will find and what enemies might await them, but it will still be an exciting thing to see. There will be other iconic places scattered throughout the galaxy as well.
The Sarlacc Pit was a mystery for many years, but fans got a look inside the creature thanks to the 2008 game Star Wars: The Force Unleashed. Though it was not the best representation of what it might look like inside of one, it was still an exciting experience for players. Now, Star Wars Outlaws will bring an even more in-depth look into the belly of the beast. This is said to be the most detailed look into Star Wars that fans have ever seen, so it is possible this will be close to what George Lucas had in mind for the Sarlacc Pit.
The open-world concept will truly give players the feeling of being in the Star Wars universe. With the sheer number of planets players can visit, there will be hours of exploration ahead of them. The action-packed game will also be exciting for fans who are looking to get away from the typical Jedi story, leaning more towards the scoundrel side of the galaxy. Star Wars Outlaws is set to release on August 30, 2024, and will be available on all platforms.
