In a first look at Star Wars: Halcyon Legacy #2, Aurra Sing becomes a gambler's protector and teams up with Zam Wesell, a character who was underutilized in the Star Wars prequel. What was a missed opportunity in the prequels becomes an opportunity for this issue to expand upon a character with a lot of potential thanks to her shapeshifting ability and the (short) role that Zam will play in the future.

Star Wars: Halcyon Legacy is a five-issue mini-series focused on Old Man Quill. Sliney also has Marvel experience with plenty of Spider-Man-related art under his palette, including Spider-Man 2099 and Ben Reilly: Scarlet Spider.

An exclusive first look from the official Stranger Things and Dungeons and Dragons). The preview pages show Aurra Sing making a deal with Colram Vestig to keep him safe from the Hutts thanks to his massive gambling debt. Unfortunately for Vestig, he isn't aiming for dad of the year, and his son is easily kidnapped during his transaction with Sing. Now, Zam Wassell will be helping out Aurra Sing on her mission with the help of her shapeshifting abilities, which are also briefly featured in the preview.

For people who don't Zam Wassel (of whom there are likely many), she was a shapeshifting bounty hunter who gets killed by Jango Fett for compromising their mission to kill Pé. A shapeshifting bounty hunter has a lot of potential to provide interesting scenes, and thanks to Zam's limited screen time, her character could go in a lot of directions pre-murder. Although it will all inevitably come back to her death at the hands of Jango.

This is not the first time Star Wars: Halcyon Legacy brings back an unexpected character from the space opera's ever-expanding universe. The first issue saw the return of a Star Wars Legends character that was from Marvel's take on the universe back in the 1970s. Readers will be able to check out more of the Halcyon's history along with Aurra and Zam in Star Wars: Halcyon Legacy #2, which hits comic book stores and digital platforms on March 16, 2022.
