This is also not the first time "The Duel" has been adapted into another format, as a novel expanding on the episode, Ronin: A Visions Novel, written by Emma Mieko Candon, was previously released in October 2021. But the first issue of the Star Wars: Visions comic featuring Okazaki's Ronin story will become available in comic book stores in September 2022. The series will begin releasing alongside other Marvel Star Wars titles like Obi-Wan (another comic book spin-off promoting a Disney+ series), Han Solo & Chewbacca, and Darth Vader.
