The final mission in Starfield you can complete is called "One Giant Leap," which sees you discover the secrets of the universe and discover what your interstellar journey has led to. While this quest takes little time to finish, it has the most impact and can change everything with one simple decision. While there aren't any large boss battles or perilous space combat encounters, the conflict of indecision could strike at any time.

"One Giant Leap" becomes available after you find the last artifact for the Armillary device that will take you to the mysterious area of the universe known as The Unity. Make sure to tie up any loose ends, such as exploring that one planet you never got to or finishing up a faction's side missions. Some of the best content in Starfield can be overlooked by the sheer scale of the galaxy, so feel free to put the final mission aside for a while.
Optional Quest: Talk to Your Friends Before You Leave
While you could certainly head to The Unity right away, you can talk to your companions at the Lodge first. Take time to reflect on your adventures together, and thank them for their help in Starfield. These conversations could also let you know if you missed any quests, allowing you to gain some rewards or earn achievements tied to individual characters.
Build the Armillary and Travel to The Unity
Once you're ready to go toward The Unity, add the final artifacts to the Armillaryon your ship and include it onto your Grav Drive. This will unlock a new power above the rest for your transport, opening up a jump into the fabled zone beyond all others. Keep in mind that you must remove the Armillary to make regular jumps again if, for whatever reason, you don't want to visit The Unity in Starfield yet.
Going to The Unity puts you in a place surrounded by stars, with a figure standing before a glowing orb in the center. This person is actually an alternate version of your character in Starfield, who speaks to you in an enlightening conversation about the nature of the universe and what lies beyond. You have the choice here to either be reborn in a parallel universe created by The Unity or return to the stars you already live in.
There are no multiple endings to get in Starfield since this choice basically begins New Game+ if you travel through The Unity. You will lose all your items, ships, and resources when being reborn into this new but familiar world. Thankfully, you keep your powers, skills, and the level your character is at in addition to a new ship and suit that are essentially rewards from finishing the game.
Your first task after starting New Game+ will be to return to the Lodge, where you will meet the same Constellation from the beginning of your journey. They may remark about how familiar you look, but once you beat the "One Giant Leap" mission, you cannot return to the universe you left behind in Starfield.
