A new hype trailer for the Summer Games Fest shows off scenes from exciting and already-released games like Death Stranding: On the Beach, Clair Obscur: Expedition 33, Dune: Awakening, and many more. The trailer was edited by the show's host and organizer, Geoff Keighley, and features over two minutes of footage from games that will be shown off during the event.
The brief trailer manages to include many games, all of which will be featured during this year's event. Summer Games Fest will return this week for its sixth annual celebration of current and games. The event will be streamed live this Friday, June 6, at 9 p.m. GMT.

Summer Games Fest was created in 2020 as a result of the pandemic, creating a place for game developers to show off their work in a virtual space at a time when physical conferences were impossible. Five years later, the show is still going strong, hosting more games and developers than ever.
There's Already No Point In The Game Awards 2025
With one of the most anticipated games of all time coming out in 2025, it is practically guaranteed to win almost everything at The Game Awards.
In fact, when the fest launches this weekend, it will be more like other trade shows like Gamescom and the canceled E3 that it was originally intended to replace. This year's Summer Games Fest will include a physical "Play Days" element held in downtown Los Angeles, where attendees will be able to get hands-on with exciting new names in the games industry.
Summer Games Fest 2025 To Host 60 Studios
Games Large And Small Will Be Represented
Over 60 game developers will be represented at this year's Summer Games Fest. This year's attendees include indie studios like Coffee Stain Studios and Devolver Digital, as well as established industry giants like Capcom, CD Projekt, Niantic, and Nintendo. The event also coincides with the arrival of the Nintendo Switch 2 console, which launches the day before the fest is scheduled to begin.
Big games will, of course, be represented in the Summer Games Fest, with titles like Death Stranding 2: On The Beach taking center stage. But the new trailer and lineup make it clear that the event is intended to celebrate games and game devs, large and small. Other titles shown off in the trailer include the indie darlings Clair Obscur, South of Midnight, and many more.
