As stated, no level rewards the Sound Off? badge. As the final badge, it serves as more of a completion reward than a tool to utilize the way that the other badges are. This means that players will need to complete some hefty tasks to obtain this badge at the end of their playthrough. To obtain the Sound Off? Badge in Super Mario Bros. Wonder, players will need to,

  1. Find every Special World Course entrance and complete each one.
  2. Gather every single Wonder Seed and Flower Coin from the various levels.
  3. Touch the top of the flagpole at the end of every level.
  4. Complete the Final-Final Test: Badge Marathon level in the Special World.

Special World Courses correlate to the different Worlds of Super Mario Bros. Wonder, therefore, each one will have a separate entrance to its associated level as the World is completed.

None of these tasks is any small feat, so it's best to try to get ahead and do as much as possible on the first run-through to avoid having to backtrack quite as much. While the Special World courses have to be unlocked as progress is made throughout the game, collecting Wonder Seeds and Flower Coins can be done while completing the levels the first time, as well as reaching the top of the flagpole.

What Does The Sound-Off? Badge Do

While it may not seem particularly worth it to complete such difficult tasks to obtain something Mario will have virtually no need for once he receives it, this unique Badge can make replaying levels very enjoyable as it does not offer any special ability.

Instead, equipping the Sound Off? Badge will cause all the sound effects of the level to be replaced with a cappella versions of their sound, making for a hilarious run-through as voices yell things like "coin" and imitate the "thump" sound of Mario stomping on his enemies. Not to mention, for any completionist, obtaining this last and final badge is a must in Super Mario Bros. Wonder.
