  • With a great chemistry of the cast and surprisingly good pacing, The Marvels is a colorful enjoyable film with good complex world-building despite the tonal shifts.

  • If this movie had been a hangout film with its three leads, it would've earned a billion dollars. Captain Marvel, Spectrum, and Ms. Marvel have real chemistry and were a joy to watch. However, a pretty loose plot, a forgettable villain, and generic action sequences couldn't save it, even with the musical scene.

  • LOVED the chemistry between the 3 leads, and despite what the peanut gallery says, Dar-Ben was every bit as formidable and memorable as any other Marvel character! Terririfc acting all around, (despite some weak dialog), loads of action and excitement, with just that perfect dash of humor - I'm begging for The Marvels 2!

  • Not perfect, but I enjoyed it. It is always interesting as to how all the pieces will fit together at the conclusion of a "saga", and that may prove to boost the overall reception of this movie as well....

Personally I am happy that the storyline in the comics is different - to different degrees - in the films. I don't think seeing the exact same story just put on a movie screen is as enjoyable....

The Marvels is an uproariously fun and action-packed comic book movie that's made all the more delightful by the heartwarming dynamic of the leads.
