With a great chemistry of the cast and surprisingly good pacing, The Marvels is a colorful enjoyable film with good complex world-building despite the tonal shifts.

If this movie had been a hangout film with its three leads, it would've earned a billion dollars. Captain Marvel, Spectrum, and Ms. Marvel have real chemistry and were a joy to watch. However, a pretty loose plot, a forgettable villain, and generic action sequences couldn't save it, even with the musical scene.

LOVED the chemistry between the 3 leads, and despite what the peanut gallery says, Dar-Ben was every bit as formidable and memorable as any other Marvel character! Terririfc acting all around, (despite some weak dialog), loads of action and excitement, with just that perfect dash of humor - I'm begging for The Marvels 2!

Worst installment in the MCU

This was a great movie man I just can't get over how awesome the chemistry was between all the characters. I don't know what happened at the box office but people who have actually seen the movie mostly seem to love it. It's must see viewing prior to the Avengers doomsday coming out. And it's just a lot of fun. Especially the cats. If you know you know lol I could watch it again and again

Underrated. The lead trio is so charming and their chemistry is great. It's a shame that it did so badly at the box office, especially because a lot of the reasons were things out of the film's control. By no means is it the MCU's best movie, but it definitely doesn't deserve to be its biggest box office bomb either.

Not Good I liked the first Captain Marvel and PS in the comics it was the Male Captain Marvel who battled Thanos

The Marvels nails the fun interactions between its three leads and the sense of a significant bond building, while also showcasing how far the MCU can push an infinite cosmos of fictional alien worlds. Sadly, that's about all it gets right, and a 2D villain and 'point A to point B' plot don't offer a lot.

While this movie falls into familiar plot trappings that plague the MCU, it is still worth a watch for creative scenarios with the power-swap premise and the cast's chemistry, as watching Carol, Kamala, and Monica bond is a joy. I hope this film gets a wider reappraisal and people look beyond box office numbers and an overshadowing post-credits scene.

Didn't really care for this one to be honest. Had everything working against it for me, though. Didn't think the first film was that great, thought Wandavision was decent, and dropped Ms. Marvel in the third episode even though I really liked the character. I just don't care about this movie, or the story, or the characters. Fits alongside Quantamania nicely in that department.

SCR gave this film a 9/10, what were they thinking….

As much of a breakout success as Captain Marvel was, The Marvels failed to capitalize on that thanks to lazy and tedious dialogue, an unappealing villain, and a plot that's simultaneously too reliant on the Disney+ shows and not reliant enough on them. The three leads have great chemistry with each other, but even that isn't enough to save one of the MCU's weakest entries in years.

The Marvels movie just didn't land for me, the acting was decent and I think it had potential but something just didn't work for me and it lacked the charm of other Marvel movies.
