Aang is the central character of Avatar: The Last Airbender, a young Air Nomad who becomes the Avatar, the spiritual and physical embodiment of balance in the world. After being frozen in an iceberg for a century, he is awakened to find a world at war. With the help of his friends, Aang must master the elements and bring peace by defeating the Fire Nation, all while maintaining his core belief in nonviolence.

HISTORY
Aang is the last surviving Airbender and the current incarnation of the Avatar, a being tasked with maintaining balance in the world. After being frozen in an iceberg for 100 years, he is awakened by siblings Katara and Sokka. Aang's journey involves mastering the four elements to stop the Fire Nation from conquering the world. He is characterized by his pacifist nature, playful personality, and strong sense of duty despite his young age. Aang eventually defeats Fire Lord Ozai and restores balance to the world. In The Legend of Korra, it is revealed that Aang married Katara and had three children, continuing his legacy as a peacekeeper and spiritual guide.
