WHERE TO WATCH

  • Believe it or not, I had not seen this movie until about a month ago and somehow had never had it spoiled for me. So I was able to enjoy this fresh like everyone else and it was just as good as everyone has always tried to convince me it was. I don't care about fighting even in the slightest bit, but this movie isn't really about fighting. It is, but it isn't. Once I started to realize what was going on, I was so untrusting of everything else this movie had to offer me. I didn't believe anything I was seeing and I still want hard answers about some of my speculations which I will never get. Regardless of that feeling of unsatisfaction, this ended in a sort of unexpected way and while I may not have gotten everything on the deepest level people can probably get to about this plot, I still really enjoyed it and agree with everyone, it's worth the watch. Even if you're like me and think you'll hate it because you don't like fighting. It's not about fighting, not really.

  • This was the blueprint for every edgelord guy in the early 2000s, but beyond its reception, it's actually a great movie. Imaginative cinematography, excellent performances, and one of the few times a first-person voice-over works in a movie show why Fincher is a great director.

  • David Fincher's Fight Club remains a masterpiece - a movie where every scene and development is dictated by the rapidly quickening heartrate of the story itself. Ed Norton and Brad Pitt make every right decision possible. Several decades later, we can even give the movie credit for its depiction of how frustrated masculinity blooms into a cult that will do anything to please a charismatic leader.

  • Fight Club is the movie that most men love, but also one that a lot of them don't really understand. It's a good movie, with some stellar performances all around. Has interesting things to say about masculinity, capitalism, and consumerism. Doesn't come together as good as I hoped it would but the final shot and soundtrack is awesome.
