A satisfying conclusion to the team we've loved for years. Vol. 3 has great music, emotion and visuals.

How do you find a satisfying end to a trilogy when it's also part of the MCU? I have no idea, but James Gunn does, and made us all a blubbering mess in regards to a CGI raccoon.

Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 absolutely broke me in the best way possible. While some of these cosmic MCU characters will likely make returns in the future, GOTG Vol. 3 is an incredible send-off for the team as it had existed under the direction of James Gunn (now a head of DC Studios). Culminating the trilogy which began with the first GOTG in 2014, Vol. 3 brings everything full circle. While the movie provides great arcs for each character, Vol 3 also proves that the real has truly been Rocket Racoon's all along.

Great performances, a captivating villain with Chukwudi Iwuji's High Evolutionary, and an amazing soundtrack/mixtape rivaling the previous two movies, Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 is one of my favorite MCU movie post-Avengers: Endgame. It's a beautifully tragic, hilarious, and heartwarming chapter to end James Gunn's time in the MCU with one of the best teams of heroes.

The minute you realize it was Rocket's story all along. My universe shook.

The first Guardians of the Galaxy movie to make me cry! Learning Rocket Raccoon's backstory was both interesting and heartbreaking, as viewers learn the full extent of what he went through before ing the Guardians. I was unsure whether I'd like this movie since Marvel has been hit or miss lately, but this one is definitely a hit.

Who knew that Rocket Raccoon would make the entirety of the MCU audience cry? While this movie is set to be the end of an era for this team of Guardians, it's firmly Rocket's movie. His backstory is one of the most heartbreaking in the MCU, and using the High Evolutionary as the story's villain is a stroke of genius on the part of James Gunn. It's certainly one of the most satisfying conclusions of any of the character/team movie sets in the MCU.

A stunning finish for the MCU's best trilogy. Love James Gunn and love this ragtag team of misfits he put together. Rocket getting the spotlight for this film was an irable choice that packed a lot of emotional punch. Some of the funniest scenes in the MCU and the best ending as well.

Only one mark cut for the poor villain

Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 excellently builds off of everything that worked in the previous films to create something with even greater visuals, jokes, drama, and writing, as a whole. It's a tremendous finale to the franchise that gives everyone involved the best ending they could hope for, and there's no telling when the MCU will ever sur something of its quality, if it even can.

Tim Gunn never wastes his time on the big screen, and Guardians of the Galaxy vol. 3 is a shockingly dark, superhero-inflected take on living with the trauma of parental abuse and finding a way to grow in the aftermath. One of the few MCU entries that really earns its PG-13 rating.

Easily the MCU's best movie since Endgame, and it makes a case for being the best in the entire cinematic universe. Given how great GOTG volumes 1 and 2 were, it seemed difficult to maintain that quality throughout the trilogy. However, Guardians of the Galaxy managed to exceed expectations and deliver a truly fitting end to the series. The story was filled with the signature GOTG humor, but it didn't in the way of the story's genuinely touching and emotional moments. Once again, the soundtrack is absolutely amazing, and each central character gets a strong showing that would be a fitting exit if they don't appear in future MCU movies. GOTG 3's villain was also one of the best Marvel antagonists in a long time and helped keep the stakes high throughout the entire film. While Captain America had three great films, Guardians of the Galaxy 3 cemented the GOTG series as the MCU's best trilogy, and it'll be hard for the superhero franchise to sur it anytime soon.

I knew this film was going to emotionally destroy me, and it did not disappoint on that front. The premise of this film is honestly tragic in itself, even before witnessing Rocket's backstory. I never thought that the MCU would get me to care about a group of CGI animals. Though a bit cheesy, the fake out with Quill at the end worked because of all of the speculation beforehand of who would die. The perfect ending for one of the MCU's best trilogies.
