Based on New York magazine's 2015 article "The Hustlers at Scores," Hustlers is a comedy-drama film that sees strip club owner Ramona teach a woman named Destiny the tricks of the trade, including how to wrangle the most money out of wealthy clients. Set during the 2008 economic collapse, Ramona and Destiny will partner up with other girls at the club to find a new solution to keep their profits on the rise.
Bolstered by rich character drama and stunning star performances, Hustlers delivers electrifying and empowering entertainment through the female gaze.

While this movie has a great cast, it's not more entertaining than reading the true story of these women and their brilliant scheme. Still, if you're not a big reader, and are a fan of J.Lo, Constance Wu, and the other great ladies here, it's worth checking out.
It might be easy to dismiss Hustlers at first based on the outlandish story, but this movie is great great. Fascinating story, and surprisingly great performance from J. Lo. Thoroughly entertaining too.
