I love the prequel it feels in details all though small. To see Gibbs before he becomes the stoic Gibbs we all know is a great. We all know the finished product but now we are seeing why. Mike Franks is so on point I love this show more than I do regular NCIS even though I watch both.

Gibbs doesn't belong in a relationship with Lala that's for sure.

Franks is EXACTLY Franks, and I can't wait to see what happens with Fornell!

I hope they take Origins all the way thru to day 1 NCIS!!! I still have yet to see the Jag episodes leading up to my beloved LJ Gibbs!

Origins is a lovely added addition to the NCISverse and we are thoroughly enjoying watching it every Monday evening after NCIS. We are enjoying getting to know the new actors and actresses in the series and find the storylines really engaging. We are very happy it has a GO for the full season and are hoping to see Season 2 in 2025-2026. Austin Stowell is doing a great job in portraying the younger version of Gibbs!

Absolutely love it.. binged watched on Paramount and finished all episodes they had..CAN'T WAIT for more!!!

I have really enjoyed Origins. No, it is not the same as the original NCIS series but in its own right I think it is well written and really shows how Gibbs’ professional and personality may have evolved. Please keep it up!

CBS hurting the show Origins placing it so late 10-11 is hard for fans who love the show

People writing below don’t seem to understand that CBS canceled NCIS Hawaii because of the cost of filming in Hawaii!

We like the different more serious tone of this NCIS series. The character. of Franks is nicely portrayed and provides a wonderful backstory for his character in the original NCIS series. We look forward to seeing the next episodes.

I was surprised how much I enjoyed NCIS Origins since I’m not an avid fan of NCIS. Watching the development of the all the characters including Gibbs backstory held my attention and interest. I liked the narration by Mark Harmon and felt it was enough to tie the story/show together. I’d love to see the characters continue to develop and progress so I’m really hoping for more seasons to come. 

I have watched since NCIS was a spinoff of JAG. To see the development of our beloved character, Gibbs is quintessential just like we are all waiting for Tony/Ziva to see where they are in life as well as to finally promote McGee to director. Can’t wait until I can watch it all. NO was too hokey with made up accents and LA was never the same without Henrietta.

It is impossible to link the potential of the young Jethro to anything resembling the moxie of the mature Jethro. The show lacks adequate fictional credibility. Instead of cases and actions suspending my disbelief, the character and image of young Jethro, increases it.

Awesome show. It is a true crime series that takes their cases seriously. I don’t see the silliness that NCIS enjoys. The new Gibbs shows many of the same facial expressions without trying to do a carbon copy of Mark Harmon. I really like the entire team. They don’t just focus on Gibbs because during the NIS years, Gibbs was learning how to be an agent. The relationships grow slowly and are not forced. Gibbs talent for carpentry comes across early as he builds shelves for a supply room. I like digging for answers, and Origins houses so much in the stories and the people. This is my favorite show, and I have followed all 22 years and all the spin offs.
