Synopsis
Popstar: Never Stop Never Stopping is a 2016 comedy starring The Lonely Island Andy Samberg, Jorma Taccone, and Akiva Schaffer. The film centers on Samberg's character, Conner, a former boy band member who slowly sees his celebrity status drop. However, he'll do anything to reach stardom again.

This is very much in a bubble of only being appealing to existing fans of The Lonely Island. But as a fan of The Lonely Island, I definitely appreciated the off-the-wall nature of it and the songs!

The Lonely Island are masters of sketch comedy, which means some areas of this movie fall very flat, or become a series of, "Oh hey, they got that famous person to be in this!" But when it's good, it's a great spoof of the modern music industry and fragile masculinity. Favorite song: These Are the Things in My Jeep

I love The Lonely Island and am down to listen to or watch anything that they may do. Some incredibly funny moments throughout. The Toni joke is so funny.
