Personally i thought it was a great film im 53 yr massive alien fan. But this film i found answered quite a few questions, david in the film was superb i feel this film was completely underatted, as for romulus less said about that the better.

It's commendable that Ridley Scott took the Alien franchise in such a drastically different direction. Prometheus is compelling prequel that features one of the best characters in modern day sci-fi, the android David. What if God was real and he hated us, is a fascinating concept and Scott should get the opportunity to finish out his prequel trilogy.

As a major fan of the Alien filmography, Prometheus was and is everything I could have hoped for as a prequel! To finally see and get a glimpse into the history of the “engineers” and the possible reasons for deg the alien creature and to witness their callous opinion of our species that they created…. did not disappoint…kudos…

Prometheus could have been a stronger film, I feel a lack of time seeing the cast interact like the crews of the Nostromo and Sulaco did failed to get me as attached to the Prometheus' crew as I should have before things went to goop, but it stands as a strong, suspenseful chapter of the Alien saga, that sadly lost its way and never got to tell its final act.

Loved "PROMETHEUS" and I'm thankful for the understanding of why it was not received very well , as it should have been, but I definitely look forward to the next chapter of PROMETHEUS💯🤌🏾🫡💪🏾

My partner and I still refer to this entry in the Alien franchise as "rolly ship," after a very silly action scene where crew try to evade their donut-shaped spaceship by running in front of it, rather than the clear paths to either side. Some great scenes and performances, but like all Alien sequels past the first two, can't match the originals.

I thought Prometheus was a good movie. I like how it was explained where the Alien creature came from and the birth of a queen at the end of the film. In Prometheus Ridley Scott did a good job on following the Alien movies especially since it's a prequel.

I pretty much agree with the article, but Prometheus was a great film. I haven't seen Alien Covenant, and it's too bad that story line wasn't resolved. Prometheus was a great concept with a great story, cast and classic Scott direction.

PROMETHEUS was the best after the original. Nothing in the ALIEN repertoire scares me anywhere near that. PROMETHEUS is my 2nd with a great plot which goes all over the place.

I was really looking forward to this movie. My son and I saw the movie together, and we were very disappointed. We kept hoping the movie would get better, but alas it didn’t.

As always, if you didn't repeat the same lines over and over and over again. I would have given the article a 9 or a 10 not just a 3.

Be advised some aren't gonna understand this film in one viewing & for those who don't watch it again...You have options what else do you have to do? Take a extra view no one should feel ashamed in doing that. It entertainment not like your being pressured or demoted This is a good franchise and plenty of good effects and dialogue...Enjoy with snacks and small related plot discussions amongst yourselves.

The Alien universe didn't need to be revisited, but if it had to be, Prometheus is the way to do it. While franchise fans were irritated at the lack of recognizable elements, Prometheus is a sci-fi movie that's truly 'about' something, turning every possible version of children vs their parents into a different horror.

Simply the best Alien movie by far.

Fantastic movie, a couple of dubious parts, mainly the girls runing from the falling Spaceship. Otherwise brilliant.
