Resident Evil 3 is a remake of the 1999 PlayStation classic that takes place during and after the events of Resident Evil 2. Players assume the role of S.T.A.R.S. operative Jill Valentine and Umbrella mercenary Carlos Oliviera, two people trapped in a zombie-infested Raccoon City desperately trying to escape. Unfortunately for Jill, she's the target of an unstoppable bioweapon known as Nemesis, who is hellbent on wiping out every remaining S.T.A.R.S. member in the city.
