With strong performances with impressive kills and twists, Scream VI succeeds where most horror sequels fail to accomplish.

Another Scream movie that I liked they're always enjoyable but I thought the beginning of it this time was really good also especially with Samara Weaving, the babysitter finally getting it. 😁😁😊😊

Scream 6 is my least favorite entry in the franchise. The good news, is that it is still really great. The New York City setting changed up the formula a bit and I had a hard time guessing who the killer was this time around. Neve Campbell was definitely missed, though.

Next to the original, this is actually my favorite entry in the Scream franchise. Moving the setting to New York, making it clear that the four new survivors of the last movie trust absolutely no one, and bringing back Kirby are all strong points in the movie's story. While the reveal of the killers here is actually my least-favorite, I think there's a great effort at using them to tie the movies together. Honing in on what it means to be a killer and if the traits that make someone susceptible to becoming a serial or spree killer like Ghostface can be ed down is also an interesting discussion for a slasher franchise that has gone on for so long. I would have loved to see that continued in Scream 7.
