Shadow and Bone had a captivating world and charming cast who didn't always receive the best arcs. The world itself is an enthralling new universe, but the tropes are well-worn territory for young adult media. However, this is where the cast is allowed to shine, as the complicated bond between Alina and the Darkling creates a captivating romance, while the Crow's heists and plots are a joy to see, as they stand out as the MVPs of the series. It is a shame that the world was cut-off after only two seasons, but I will fondly what we got.

Dumb. When will they learn,, but there is always prime. The series could always go to prime. Prime is better at keeping series going and finishing they see things through.

Sone of it was ok, and the actors were good. The problem iwas, and a lot of other angry fans thought so, that they completely butchered the books. Netfl8x does that with everything. 8ts like some intern gets picked and has to reveal one of her favorite book series, and then Netflix runs with it, never reads it and completely destroys the story that made it a best selling book to begin with. I dont mind when the movie 9r show deviates from the story a bit, but if im watching a movie or show of a book I read, it's because I want to see the story and characters in my head be in front of me. I can't understand why they think that everyone is coming to see a different movie....no we came to see the movie of a book we read.

It's a shame that this series won't get to have a season three to finish off the adaptation. The first season was really great with some interesting world building. Didn't enjoy the second season as much but was really looking forward to seeing it to the end. Read the books after the first season and was hooked on the world.
