Sifu is a beat-em-up/roguelike action game from debut developer Sloclap that follows a young student whose father, a sifu of a martial arts school, is murdered by a former student. Training diligently, the student prepares for revenge as they go after four villains responsible, one by one, in different stages in the game. Players will master the skills of their school and face off hordes of enemies with a unique gameplay twist - each death ages the player by a certain amount of years, simultaneously granting them new attacks and reducing their max health. If the character ages too much, they'll be forced to restart the level from the beginning at whichever age they started at - or restart from the beginning of the game while keeping whatever permanent skills were unlocked.
